Bad Kleinkirchheim is located in the heart of the Austrian state of Carinthia, on the edge of the National Park & Biosphärenpark Nockberge and close to a number of fine bathing lakes. The village is part of the district Spittal an der Drau, located at an altitude of 1087 meters and is surrounded by the rolling hills of the Nockberge. Bad Kleinkirchheim is a village where many mountain sports are possible and where you can completely relax in the two thermal baths.
In one of the most beautiful natural areas of Austria, the mountains and the national and Biosphärenpark Nockberge lies our country house with four apartments. Overlooking the Kaiserburg and next to the Nockalmbahn, this is truly a holiday paradise for all seasons.
The country house is located at 1225 meters altitude and 4 km away from the centre and the thermal baths. The Nockberg ski lift is a 70-metre walk away from the apartment.
The Brunnach Bergbahn is within 1.7 km of the apartment.
The area of Bad Kleinkirchheim-St. Oswald starts at an altitude of 1050 meters and reaches a height of 2255 meters. The area counts approx. 103 km of pistes, 24 modern lifts and 700 snow cannons that cover a large part of the area. This comprehensive system ensures that the slopes are covered with snow until spring. For free-style skiers and snowboarders, a Snow Park can be found on the Kaiserburg descent, where there is also a toboggan run.
The area counts about 8 km of cross-country ski trails and there are several hiking trails.
From early December To the End of March , All kinds of winter sports activities can be undertaken: Tour skiing, alpine skiing, cross country, tobogganing, skating, curling, hiking and horse-drawn sleigh rides are among the possibilities.
From early May to late October you can go hiking, mountaineering, biking, mountain biking, motorcycling, fishing, tennis, swimming, horse riding, waves and taking part in various culture and children’s programmes.
